Mecklenburg NC or Backcountry SC, circa 1820, yellow pine secondary, rectangular top with a 1.75 inch rear overhang for chair rail molding, with applied molding featuring a double lightwood line inlay, four graduated drawers with scratch bead, each drawer with lightwood inlaid panel and two stylized tulips to each side, the bottom drawer with inlaid vine from the left to the right handle, inlaid kite escutcheons, applied molded base, on French bracket feet.
