Franklin Center, PA: The Franklin Library, [1976-1984]; a complete set of (100) volumes; all limited edition and 8vo; finely bound in gilt-decorated leather with moire endpapers, satin ribbon bookmark, and all edges gilt. Includes titles such as Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath; Louisa May Alcott's Little Women; Herman Melville's Moby Dick; F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby; Henry David Thoreau's Walden, and many others; no duplicates. Also included with the Lot are (99) "Notes From the Editors," booklets that outline the background and significance of books in the collection, all contained in four boxes.

Volumes with occasional light wear, a few with a bookplate (partially torn); the boxes for booklets with light wear, the booklets with toning, discoloration, and occasional minor handling wear. Overall a very good to near fine set.
