It doesn’t get much more serious or legendary than ‘Monfortino,’ a label only made in the best vintages and snapped up quickly by serious collectors all over the world. With a pricepoint over $900, this bottle is clearly an investment, but it is an investment that comes with the gravitas and unmatched reputation of the Conterno name. When it comes to Italian wine, Barolo is inarguably the most famous and well-respected region. And within Barolo, few producers have built up as epic a reputation as Giacomo Conterno and his son Roberto.
