Circa 1950s, made in France, the flap closure opens to an exterior pocket, the black leather lined interior features two main compartments, one of which is fitted with mirror and change purse, rear snap pocket, single handle, flap with gold tone square closure, the center of which slides up and down to secure flap. Gold lettered Hermes Paris stamp.
7.5 x 9.25 x 2 1/8 in.; Strap drop 5.5 in.

Exterior crocodile remains in very good condition without cracks except for wear and separation along the bottom edges; the handle and the area around the clasp beneath the flap would benefit from re-glazing; leather lining with scratches; some scratching to clasp; remnants of of gilt lettering of former owner's name to inside leather of flap.
