Circa 1800, two part form, mahogany veneers, light and dark wood inlays, mahogany and pine secondary, broken arched pediment with central reeded plinth above a line inlaid frieze, two hinged doors having window lights divided by double line and banded veneered panes, double louvered shelved interior, bow front base having an upper frieze with inlaid rectangular block repeating design within a string inlaid panel, fall front butler's desk with three over three graduated satin wood veneered drawers above a scalloped valance, above three graduated cock beaded drawers with line and banded veneer border, flanked by three quarter tapered columns with alternating line and banded inlays, applied bracket foot base.

An excellent inlaid case, script in red crayon to inside of lower drawer.

Right scrolled pediment replaced, corner moldings missing to base at upper right corner by desk, later green leather writing surface, patch and repair at lock to fall front, replaced pulls.
