Chinese Export Porcelain Bough Pot

Rose Medallion, mid-19th century, octagonally paneled form with tapering sides and flared base, applied "twisted branch" form handles, unusual aqua blue ground decorated with raised enamel "buds" recalling the original function of this vase. Lacking perforated cover designed to keep boughs in place.
