Circa 1850-1880, porcelain with gilt bronze mounts, the palatial oval bowl features a cobalt field with delicate lace-like gilt overlay surrounding the artistically painted reserves. One reserve artist signed "I. Froter". The urn is complimented by a floral decorated interior, classical angel form handles, conforming socle, raised on a shaped gilt bronze plinth.
