Stated to be circa 1810, tag reads "Exquisitely crafted silver Amulet of the Kazakhstan tribe of Southern Russia Steppes near Bukhava north of the fabled Oxus River, of exceptional quality is the Amber, golden Amber believed to bring the bearer good providence- fossilized resin from Biblical cedars found near the shores of the Aral Sea. Pure Silver prayer beads precious to the pious Kazakhstani. Small beads are silver from ancient Russian (melted) Rubles".

Amulet measures 2.75 x 3.25 in, necklace measures 32.5 in long.
