The gold hoop earrings each suspending a dangle, one a Madonna and Child silver coin (Medieval Hungary) silver denar of Ferdinand I, 1526-1564 AD, reading "Patrona UNgarie K-B" with a coat-of-arms and "Ferdinand D G R Vng" (date obstructed by bezel and illegible) set in an 18k gold bezel rhodium plated on one side and with a jump ring and a three ball embellishment at the bottom, (pair in the bezels weigh 2.4 dwt), the other dangle is an 18K gold ellipse shaped adornment and is bead set with three round brilliant cut diamonds in the center, the larger approx. 2.0mm and the two outer diamonds approx. 1.4mm diameter, total estimated weight of the six diamonds is .10 ct (G-H color, VS2 clarity), attached to a jump ring, (the pair weighs 1.2 dwt).

Hoops 3.4 dwt.

Estate of a lady from Durham, NC, and Santa Fe, NM. Proceeds go to a charitable fund at The Triangle Community Foundation.
