Likely related to The Queen's School of Chester. Founded in 1878 as The Chester School for Girls, the name changed by 1882, when Queen Victoria issued a royal decree commanding that the School should "henceforth be known as The Queen's School".

The School's annual, Have Mynde, dates back to 1897, and this exquisitely crafted seal likely graced an editor's or supervisor's desk.
