Two Chinese ink and color paintings in the Qing dynasty style on silk of rural village life; 1. three men fish in a boat on a lake under the shade of a tree and with lush mountains in the background; 2. a family farming scene with a mother, father and two children standing in a field by the lake; the dad holds a bamboo rake tending to his field; color and ink on silk; Chinese title written in ink and marked with a red artist's seal at the top right hand corner of both paintings; framed under glass.

The Collection of Arthur Bennett Schram, Jr. of Pinehurst, North Carolina and Jupiter Island, Florida

1. Good condition with minor creases in the bottom right hand corner and middle bottom of the painting.
2. Fair condition with some foxing and dark spots on the silk; minor wear and creases throughout silk, but only loss in one spot in the central top portion of the painting about three inches from the top edge; glass on frame broken.
