This particular set was a gift to the consignor from Harry N. Abrams, who published the lithographs. It has remained in the consignor's private collection until this point.

This significant portfolio of lithographs is based on an original series of paintings on cardboard Pablo Picasso executed in 1969. Picasso collaborated with famed lithographer, Marcel Salinas, to create this lithographic series. Many of the lithographs even incorporate color and striped patterns that mimic the cardboard used as the surface for the original paintings.

Top edge of sheets with strip of masking tape from hinging; stain along edge from tape; one with professionally repaired tear along top edge.
