Two sets of matching tea cups; one pair decorated with double lotus on the front with a calligraphy verse on the reverse ending in a red seal, scalloped edges along the rim with gilding, on the bottom of the cups are blue marks with a jian ding (certified) export approval seal mark from the Shanghai Cultural Relics Bureau dating to the CCP period (diameter: 4.75 in.)(fair condition with hairline cracks on top and underside of one cup, significant loss to the gilding along the rims of both); other pair decorated with crickets among flowers with blue seals on the bottom of both cups (good condition with minor wear and some pigment on the inside of one cup).
