18th century, carved ivory figure of Christ beneath ivory parchment, affixed to silver gilt cross with engraved floral and scroll decoration and inset with what are likely rubies and Persian turquoise, a carved ivory corpus skull and crossbones affixed to bottom of cross, all above a base with three enameled angels clasping stamped silver garlands with inset ruby affixed to silver triangular base, also inset with Persian turquoise, rubies, a single pearl and ivory beads; the whole supported on winged cupid scroll feet with rubies. Presented in an antique fitted case labeled "Martinott / zum gold: Antier / Graben No. 1094 / in Wien."
