Salesman's Sample, The Majestic Junior Cast Iron Wood Cook Stove
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Early 20th century, this diminutive six-burner appliance is complete with two irons, a skillet and a waffle iron.

30.5 x 24 x 15.5 in.

The consignor provides this charming vignette from Louisburg, North Carolina nearly a century ago: "...the little stove was actually cooked on -- its stove pipe went up to connect with the one for their big cook stove. Their cook would share some batter or whatever she was cooking with my mother, who could "play cook," using real fire and ashes in this little stove. So it was functional in 1916 and might still be."

Lacking the chrome trim typically decorating these stoves; even overall blacking on rust-free surfaces; one support broken from an inserted side rest.

$300 - 600
