Mid-19th century, each having a hand painted Tongzhi period (1862-74) mark, matched group of plates, porcelain with celadon glaze and painted polychrome decoration of butterflies, plants, birds, and auspicious Chinese motifs, group consists of four lunch sized plates (diameter: 7 3/8 in.) and seven dinner sized plates (diameter: 9 7/8 in.)

Good estate condition; a few minor chips to rim on three of the dinner plates.
