19th century, salt glazed stoneware, the first attributed to William Hancock, coggle wheel capacity mark "2", grooves beneath the collar (original surface imperfections and hairline halfway around the base); the second made by James Hayes and stamped as such (rim chip and tight hairline extending almost to the base); the third unmarked, with hand inscribed "2", good condition; the fourth is a one gallon size in good condition, unmarked (11 in.).
