19th century, bronze sculpture with gilding, three tiered lotus throne, the Buddha is dressed in royal style with highly ornate detail to the gilded dress and jewelry, top knot with flaming pearl as pinnacle, seated in meditation position virasana with hands folded on lap, eyes downcast but open, elongated ears, neck rolls, and remnants of red on top of each tier of the throne, includes a three tiered royal umbrella that attaches to a pole on the back of the sculpture so it stands over the Buddha's head.

Some cracking of gilding on body of the Buddha; some areas to the point of revealing the dark iron below, appears it may have been repainted in these spots with gold paint to retain the original look, general rubbing and loss to the gilding elsewhere, but mostly intact; some of the hanging decorations on the bottom level of the royal umbrella are missing.
