Due to the popularity of the large, colorful advertisement posters in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Italian publisher G. Ricordi & Co. published and sold the Ricordi Portfolio as a grouping of 70 lithographic prints that were smaller versions of the larger posters. The Le Maitres de l'Affiche Portfolio is a similar portfolio that was published in France, and a grouping of these prints is also offered in this sale.

No apparent condition concerns; not examined out of frames.
