The first necklace of gilt metal comprised of (18) open work "lace" panels completed with spring ring closure and signature tag (panels 1.25 in.; 16.5 in.); earrings en suite and completed with posts and hinged clip backs (1 7/8 in.); the second in silvertone metal two-part form in a tapered open work "lace" design connected at center with drop faceted stone and completed with lobster clasp (2 in. x 17 in. approximately); earrings en suite completed with posts and hinged clip backs (1 7/8 in.) (without signature tag).

As a noted designer, Mary Ann Scherr's work can be found in the permanent collections of major museums including the Vatican Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Museum of Art, and many others of note. Moving to North Carolina in 1989, she shared ownership in Raleigh's Roundabout Art Collective; her designs have been featured in the Gregg Museum of Art and Design, the Mahler, the Carolina Designer Craftsmen Guild, and the Penland School of Crafts.
