20th century, taller vase with cranes flying over animated waves against a background of black with golden flecks, decorated in similar design around rim and foot of the vase (H: 9.75 in., good condition with slight chip to the rim of the vase), smaller vase has a black ground decorated with a Buddhist worshipper seated atop a lotus flower plant (H: 7.5 in., good condition with very slight chips to the rim of the vase.)
