Five ceramic figures arranged in play - each modeled to resemble a specific child, one of whom was the artist's daughter, Leighanna Duggan, along with her friends, Alana Stanley, Jimbo Parrish, Alex Fleming, and Madison Williams. The children were between the ages of 7 and 8 when they posed for this charming group. Henrietta Stanley made a scrapbook of the five children for Miss Boykin and this scrapbook will be provided to the winning bidder.

Ms. Barnes-Ginifer currently splits time between the United Kingdom and Asheville, NC. She received her M.A. in ceramics from East Carolina University in 1994, but also studied at the Penland School of Crafts, Barton College (B.F.A. in ceramics, cum laude), the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and UNC-Chapel Hill.
