Late 20th century, both polychrome and gilt on wooden panels, the first by Ustinian Tilov of Sofia, Bulgaria depicts St. Christopher with the head of a dog, an odd image which is similar to some late Egyptian iconography showing the jackal-headed god Anubis as a Roman soldier, with brass gallery plate en verso (6.25 x 12.5 in.); the second, Romanian, with Michael and Gabriel standing in tandem (8 x 6 in.).
