The first titled "Girl in the Wind," woodblock print, with silver-copper metallic pigment and green watercolor on the background, signed and dated in pencil along lower left "1956 T. Nakayama," matted and framed under glass (SS 8.25 x 9.75 in.; DOA 12.5 x 14 in.); the second titled "Girl and Poppy," woodblock, with multi-colored metallic background, pencil signed and dated in lower margin "1956 T. Nakayama," matted and framed under glass (SS 8.75 x 8 in.; DOA 14 x 12.5 in.).

Both works are among his earliest and best, with "Girl in the Wind" listed as the earliest in the reference book TADASHI NAKAYAMA: LIFE AND WORK by Kappy and Marshall Hendrick (Irongate, 1982).
