18th century, painted wood with a floral spray pattern in red and green, having three shaped crest panels over pierced heart cut-out splats, molded scrolled arms, valance seat rails, four front cabriole legs terminating in ball feet, four straight legs to the rear. Later red upholstered seat cushions; four gilt urn form finials.
