Partly 16th century, walnut, the upper section with carved drop front panel depicting the crucifixion and descent from the cross, surrounded with bishops, saints, apostles in Gothic pattern, wrought iron lock, hasp, & side locks. Interior consisting of fourteen drawers with two carved center doors, the drawers above and below are arcaded with ivory columns. Other drawers mounted with Limoges enamel on copper depicting the life of Christ. The base cabinet on ogee plinth with block feet, two drawers over two lower door compartments, all with relief carved front featuring cavalier's mask, raised panel sides, wrought iron handles mounted to top and base.
