The Chinqua Penn Skinner Pipe Organ
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
A two manual and pedal residence style pipe organ built in 1926 by the Skinner Organ Company, having 1020 metal and wooden pipes in addition to Chimes and Harp. The console is of tiger strip white oak with black walnut key-desk, both showing little ?nish blemish. Although the pipework is in generally good to very good condition, the leathers of the bellows and chest pouches are fragile and will need replacement. Currently the wind cannot be raised due to a disconnection of electrical service to the blower. However, all parts and components are extant, requiring only skilled repairs to restore the organ to a playable condition.
