The first a cut and paste of a woman with pale watercolor embellishment to collar, identified en verso as "Sept 2 1837/ Granny," (SS: 4.75" x 3.5"; DOA: 7.25" x 6.25"); the second, a cut and paste of gentleman, ca. 1830, with bronze highlighting to hair and jacket, (SS: 4.5" x 3.5"; DOA: 7" x 6").

Both housed in likely original rosewood frames with gilt liner.
