Brown, active ca. 1850s - 1870s, having an exposed cartouche surrounded by repousse blossoms and birds reaching for grape clusters, with an applied scrolled handle with leafy rosettes, raised on beaded footed vase, the base interior marked "T. J. Brown." The cup is engraved as an honor award to Benjamin Owen at Union Academy July 9, 1858.
