Four (4) plates, circa1830 and earlier, unmarked, as follows: a matching pair with a border of koi fish and birds around a central scene depicting two birds, a stag and a seated monkey reaching for fruit (9.5 in. diameter) (gilt rubbed from rims; one plate with 2 in. tight hairline on underside that does not go through); the third, possibly 18th century, features two foo dogs capering with ribbons, gilt highlights (8.75 in.) (no condition issues noted); the fourth is bordered with butterflies, strawberries, peonies and olives, the interior scene populated by birds and various mammals (8 in. diameter) (no condition issues noted).
