(3) pieces, 19th century, a small oval footed tureen with gilt final and openwork handles (6 x 7.75 in.); a lidded vegetable serving dish (5.5 x 9 x 7.75 in.); and a vegetable serving dish with underplate (DOA 11.25 x 5.5 x 8 5/8 in.), all hand-painted in sepia tones with gilt highlights.

The original set of this pattern was made for Charleston, SC merchant Nathaniel Russell to embellish his Federal townhouse built in 1808.

All with some gilt loss at rim or finial; underplate with two edge chips; no restoration noted with black light examination.
