Early 20th century, the first a traditional bamboo ink and wash painting on paper in the Lingnan school style with water-splatter, bold calligraphy inscription and artist signature on the left side of the painting (DOA 97.5 x 24 in.; painting 52.25 x 14.25 in.); the second painting is of ink and color and depicts a woman serving travelers , with two-column calligraphy inscription in the upper right corner with artist seal stamp below and two seal stamps in the lower right corner (DOA 49 x 12 in.).

Paper painting on original silk mounts.

Silk mount of the first scroll is stained, is separating from top rod and has nicks on the right side; overall toning and otherwise is in good condition; second scroll has overall condition issues with holes in the mount, slight peeling of paper from mount, minor holes in painting, and overall toning.
