Early 19th century, case with several layers of painted color, the molded cornice is highlighted with gilt dentil molding over a glass enclosed metal face with gilt wreath surround, time and chime wind, brass works. Below the waist door, the case is further decorated with a band of gilt dentil molding and an applied gilt drapery. The face, possibly re-painted, reads "M.P. Westh. 1847". With key, single weight, pendulum.
