Virginia origin, circa 1840s, poplar with maple drawer fronts, having a shaped backsplash over two glove drawers over three flush drawers, the upper one slightly convex. Old accumulated surface with original pulls and escutcheons. (Glove drawers constructed of cigar box mahogany.)
