Late 19th - early 20th century, signed on the underside, distinctive orange and gilt decoration, the bowl being supported by three elephant mask feet, its interior showing twelve figural scenes that, taken together, likely form a narrative; the sides show a flock of cranes in fight.

2.5 in. high; 8.25 in. diameter.
