Etching, pencil signed in lower right margin, the plate with artist's monogram and dated 1916, presented in a vintage gilt frame, the leatherette backing having the gallery label for Arthur Ackermann & Son, Chicago describing the work as an "Original Etching" and carrying its full title of "Self-Portrait in Fur Cap." Plate 6 7/8 x 4 5/8 in.; DOA 14.5 x 11.25 in.

He studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm while yet a teenager and thereafter applied his talents to both continental and American subjects. Zorn's renown was such that he was commissioned to paint three American presidents.
