Proficient in several media, Anders Zorn was one of Sweden's most prolific and acclaimed artists. He studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts in Stockholm while yet a teenager and thereafter applied his talents to both continental and American subjects. Zorn's renown was such that he was commissioned to paint three American presidents.
