(Dominican/American, second half 20th century), circa 1980, composed of a silk chiffon top with plunging neckline which is slipped over the head, (single snap closure) and flows downwards over the back as a gently pleated cape, the attached fitted velvet skirt with back zipper features a n above the knee slit. The flowing cape of the top may have the ends brought forward around the waist and tied or secured with a brooch or belted. With "Oscar de la Renta'' label.
