This panel is illustrated in the Ravenna Project, at Pius XII Memorial Library of Saint Louis University. They identify the artist as Hermann Schaper (German, 1853-1911), who based this image on an ancient Roman mosaic found in Aix La Chapelle (Aachen, Germany).
