Likely German, circa 1770s, unmarked, all brass construction, complete with (16) brass weights naming popular trade denominations, their multiples and their fractions. Among these are the louis 'd or, the ducat and the carolin. The set is housed in a compartmentalized maple case with a hinged lid.
