The first, a colored copperplate engraving, VUE DE LA VILLE ET DES FORTS DE BERG-OP-ZOOM ASSIEGEE PAR L' ARMEE FRANCOISE, credited to Brouard and printed by M. Marvis, circa 1750, depicts a French siege in Holland during the War of the Austrian Succession. In early 20th century wooden frame with gallery label of C. Vendeville, DOA 21 x 27 in. the second, BATAILLE DE CASTIGLIONE, colored copperplate engraving credited to "Dupreel" after an original by Carle Vernet, late 1790s, depicts an early Napoleonic victory in Italy. Presented in an early 20th century wooden frame, DOA 16 x 20.75 in.
