All four pieces marked with London (1855) hallmarks and "W.M" sponsor's mark (att. William Moulson), each also with retailer's mark "Lambert & Rawlings" on "Coventry St. / London" retailer's mark. The four piece service includes a coffeepot (10.25 in.), teapot (7.25 in.), open sugar bowl with gilt interior, and cream jug with gilt interior. Each ornately decorated with hand-chased floral motif and rocaille cartouches, each raised on four cast and applied scroll feet with acanthus mounts, the coffeepot and teapot with cast and applied pomegranate finials (with hallmarks). No monograms.
