Pair of Monumental Japanese Blue and White Vases

Late 19th century, unsigned, tapering ovoid bodies with flaring rims, geometric shapes and foliate motifs frame an agitated bird of prey on a rock outcropping. Each vase comes with a fitted carved wooden base.
