Group of Four Japanese Netsuke

Carved ivory, (2) are of frogs on a pomegranate both inset with polished stones resembling seeds, the first (3 in.) and the second (2.5 in.) artist signed; a turtle figural (1.25 in.) appears to be signed; and the fourth is a blossom inlaid with a beetle (1.5 in.).

Ivory cannot be exported.

The taller frog has a long split to the back and across the base as well as a hairline along the right side; the other frog with spider faults to the tail and back and (2) short splits to the fruit.
