First half 19th century, the Rose Mandarin brush pot depicts courtesans in a pavilion setting, 5.5 in.; the pen box is glazed in "cloisonne blue" or "fa ch'ing" which was an attempt to recreate the appearance of cloisonne in porcelain, 2.5 x 7.25 x 3.75 in. original firing line to interior divider.
