Two Chinese Censors, 19th century

The first is a three part form, of brass with applied lizard form handles, the carved wooden lid is fitted to the shape of the handles (6.5 in.); and the second is of pierced bronze with elephant trunk and ring handles and a Foo dog finial to the lid (7 in.). Both with Chinese characters to the underside.
