Two Silver Drink Ladles, 19th century

The first an English sterling toddy ladle with baleen handle, partially rubbed marks, circa early 19th century (9.5 in.); the second a large punch ladle with oblong bowl and turned ebonized wood handle (possibly a later replacement - lacking pin to attach handle to silver shaft, however it is attached securely with a glue), Swedish silver hallmark and Stockholm city mark, circa 1840 (16.25 in.).
