The first entitled "La Miseria" by Leon Dolice (NY, 1892-1960), signed and dated in pencil "Leon Dolice 1924," matted and framed under glass (DOA 14 x 10 in.); the second signed in pencil "L. Barths," matted and framed under glass (DOA 12.75 x 13.5 in.); the third signed and titled in the lower margin, dated 1921 in the plate, matted and framed under glass (DOA 10.5 x 11.7 in.); the fourth pencil signed in the image "J. Andre Smith 1913" (Jules Andre Smith, born in Hong Kong, 1880, died in Maitland, Florida in 1959), an Arthur Hahlo & Co. gallery label on the verso identifies the scene as "A Bit of the Grand Canal," matted and framed under glass (DOA 11.5 x 13.5 in.).
