Circa 1894 - 1901, this oval form with central well and tree is raised on four finely cast and applied acanthus scroll feet, the flange with ribbed edge and urn and scroll "handles," fully hallmarked on the underside "Tiffany & Co. / 11970 Makers 8747 / Sterling Silver / 925-1000 / T (for Charles L. Tiffany)."
