This large photographic collection, circa 1890s, is in its original album and includes (8) Alpine views signed in negative "G. Sommer - Napoli"; (9) European views signed "Edit. Photoglob" in negative; (8) Egyptian views signed "Schroeder & Cie Zurich" in negative. These prints are each approximately 10 x 8" and mounted on full page 14 x 11 in. leaves. The collection also contains approximately (50) smaller prints, mostly cabinet cards, of European subjects.

The album is deteriorated, however the prints are in remarkably good condition retaining full tonal contrasts. Unfortunately, the larger prints are laid down on either side of the same leaf.
